Day 156: Mothers day breakfast at school followed by a school mass. They had a tribute to mothers at the end of mass with a slideshow of what some of kids said about their mothers. The question posed to the kids “If your mother was an animal or a fruit what would she be and why?” I had tears of joy running down my face from some of the kids responses. Examples like, “my mum would be a mango because she is sweet”, or “my mum would be a puppy dog because she’s so sleepy”. Out of the mouths of babes.
