Day 57:  My eldest starts back to school today and my youngest (who starts school tomorrow) and I have a day together.  We enjoy “our last day” before big school by having  Baby-chino’s (latte for me of course) and playing games.  It’s a nice moment to realise you’ve come so far (you’ve made it through teething, toilet training, tantrums – well not quite) and a little buddhist in noticing nothing lasts.  At each stage you think it’s never going to end, but each milestone passes and you’re onto the next one.  Here’s to the next phase in our lives and living in the moment.

“Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, and today? Today is a gift. That’s why we call it the present.” — Eleanor Roosevelt
